Frequently asked questions

Do we need a fully worked-out idea already?

No. Projects often start from a bottleneck or an opportunity in the market. The first step is precisely to turn that into a concrete, buildable product idea.

Do you handle both the physical product and the software?

Yes. Mechanics, electronics, firmware and software sit in one team. That removes handovers and prevents the design and the engineering from drifting apart.

How do we know the product can actually be made?

Manufacturability is a design criterion from the concept onwards, not a check afterwards. Material choice, production method and cost are considered early.

How long does a project take?

That depends on complexity, certification and whether electronics are involved. After the analysis there is a realistic timeline with clear phases and decision points.

Do you also support production?

Yes. We produce technical files and bills of materials, help with supplier selection and support the first production runs.

Can we start with a smaller part?

You can, and it is often the sensible route. A prototype or a defined sub-concept delivers early proof before you commit to the full project.

What if the product needs certification?

Requirements around CE, EMC, safety or sector-specific standards are established up front, so the design accounts for them from the start.
