Forward Group BV, trading as Forward Shapers, takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy sets out which data we process, why we do so, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

2. What data we process

We only process data you provide to us yourself or that is collected automatically when you visit our website.

Data you provide yourself: name, business email address, telephone number, organisation and the content of your message or enquiry.

Data collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device and operating system, pages visited, time spent, referring website, and data from cookies and similar technologies.

3. What we use your data for

To respond to your question or enquiry.

To prepare a quote and to prepare or perform an agreement.

To manage our client relationship and administration.

To improve the operation, security and usability of our website.

To comply with our legal obligations, including accounting legislation.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling with legal consequences.

4. Legal basis

5. How long we keep your data

We do not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Enquiries without follow-up are kept for a maximum of two years. Client data is kept for the duration of the engagement and for seven years thereafter under the statutory retention obligation. Website statistics are kept for a maximum of 26 months.

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data and do not pass it to third parties for commercial purposes. Your data may be processed by service providers who support us, solely on our instructions and under a data processing agreement.

This includes our website hosting, email service, accounting software and analytics tools. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, or via www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

11. Changes

We may amend this policy where our services, technology or legislation give cause to do so. The most recent version is always available on this page, with the date of the last change.
